This piece at a glance

Eyeball is a small work with big presence. HJ distills horror down to a single gaze, a floating iris and veinwork emerging from soft watercolor blooms. The white space makes it feel like the eye is watching you. Quiet, creepy, and strong on the wall—perfect for my horror lane.
This artwork was used for one of three limited-edition foil collector cards design at Osaka Comic Con 2025.

HJ keeps it simple: soft watercolor washes + crisp ink around the pupil.

That mix makes the eye feel alive without adding lots of detail.

Sinister eye horror disguised under the soothing flow of the linework! It's a very popular body part to exploit in the genre as it is the most vulnerable!
