Green Arrow Vol 3 No 4 p 14-15 (GA reintroduced to Justice League in Quiver)

Kevin Smith was at the height of his Clerks fame in the early 2000s when he penned the return of a seemingly dead Ollie Queen, aka Green Arrow, in the story, "Quiver." Since then it has become an evergreen title for DC, and is fondly remembered by fans.

In these consecutive pages, Aquaman reintroduces Green Arrow to the startled members of the Justice League, who still believe Ollie is deceased. Lots of great Smith dialogue here, an inpatient Wonder Woman, Flash bothered by a shape-shifting Martian Manhunter, and a nauseated Ollie who lets Aquaman know exactly what he thinks of the teleportation that got them to the JL HQ in space.

Phil Hester, who drew one of Kevin's Clerks comics prior to his GA run, had not done much superhero work up to this point, but his clean, somewhat cartoony style fits quite nicely here.

Interestingly, inker Ande Smith told me the second viewing screen on the page 14 long panel was originally a more recognizable image of one of the Powerpuff Girls, but DC legal got uneasy about running it so was pasted over to show only the character's foot.
