That explanation certainly makes sense, as the proportions and positioning of the image matches all the covers in that series. Nevertheless, the composition here is great, with the figure of Elric being pulled almost 'out of shot' to draw the eye to the indistinct architecture in the distance. Nice image!

This looks substantially less "Duursema" than usual, but a bit more P. Craig Russell, which is understandable.

Elric's gonna need a warm elixer to get out of this one.
