I wonder if The Unknown Soldier would have had an easier time eluding pursuit if he kept up his native disguise.  Bottom left image is the best!  It shows his evil without the use of stereotype. 

Puts you right in the thick of it!

Another nice page from this story, that bottom half splash image is really great. Btw Peter looks like the artist credits didnt stick on this post (currently uncredited)

Love the composition on the lower half . . . intense!

I think the lighting technique is really nice all over this page, but especially how the light casts shadows of the leaves and sword on the soldier in the bottom left. Very strong work by the forever underrated Dan Spiegle!

Thanks, Rubén! This gallery has a good example of his later work in the Unknown Soldier book. His pencils and brush work on that page are excellent, provided you don't mind how he renders hands.
