If you gotta think that much about it...it's not love.  Great page by Mr. C. though!

Most of the stories in those comics were terrible, I only bought them for the art.

The art is more than worth it.  I love pedestrian settings.  Furnishings, carpeting, wallpaper and wood grain.  Plus, you get Gene's beautiful women in lush, fur hats.  Look at that hair and those eyelashes.

If they'd just get down to business, they can decide after if the chemistry is right.  She's not going to turn him down if he's 11" x 17".  Very melodramatic to tease the audience.

Beautiful and tragic. The first panel is glorious, and the viewing angle in the thirs panel is perfect.

I really enjoyed the work Colan did on those love comics when he was at Marvel, unlike the over exaggerated figures he did on the superheroes stuff. Unfortunately, those love pages are very hard to come by. When one does show up on the market, it's for a high price.
