Another one! A powerful and emotional page to sequentially follow the prior one in Cable's origin. Truly important and historic. congrats dude!
You are going hard with these Cable pages!!
Portacio makes Cyclops look like he's hysterically screaming even as there's mostly exposition. It's pretty cool as we get an emotionally invested Cyclops before giving up his son.
Only thing better than having connecting X-Men pages by Whilce is that framing in the bottem left panel!
The previous one may have slightly stronger character content, but the overall layout gives this one a nicer eye appeal. Both obviously exhibit the classic Portacio style of the era though, and having back to back pages is a nice coup!
Freaking awesome!
Damn son! This is IMPRESSIVE!
Portacio was so good at representing the techno-tragic origin of Cable. Fantastic storytelling!
A great paired page from issue #68, congrats on this duo. Beautiful art and big X history, always a great combo. Cheers!
I just love these pages !
Best time to be reading comics... and this was one of the better moments during that time.
Such dramatic page. Portacio's high levels are...truly high!
