DePatie-Freleng: The Aaardvark

From 1969-1971, THE ANT AND THE AARDVARK was a pretty great Saturday morning cartoon. I think I remember it being shown along with the Pink Panther show, but I could be wrong.

I believe this cel was from the 9th episode (out of 17) and was titled, "Scratch a Tiger". It first aired on January 28, 1970.

The voices of the main characters were done by John Byner (a pretty famous guy back in the day for being an actor/comedian/impressionist). For this series he imitated Jackie Mason for the Aardvark and Dean Martin for the Ant.
