Description
Sometimes you get a piece of art by an artist you love. Sometimes you get a piece that has nostalgic value, or something significant happens. Sometimes you are lucky and get all three! It's the return of Sharon Carter after 16 years (208 issues) thought dead! Kicking off "Operation: Rebirth," Mark Waid and Ron Garney did the unthinkable... they brought back Steve's long-lost love after presumably killed in Cap #237 (1979). There is so much to love about Garney's layout and design on this page... the big reveal (in all her 90's style)... the look of surprise and joy on Cap's face... the cold reaction by Sharon. I can't tell you how excited I am to get this historic page!

If you love Cap, I have a weekly Cap comic book podcast where I interview several Cap creators: https://captainamericacomicbookfans.com. For example, we chatted with Ron Garney https://tinyurl.com/2xwpn5zw as well as Mark Waid https://tinyurl.com/4r4prh32 to get their thoughts on their amazing Cap runs.

You can also come hang with fellow Cap fans (including several creators) at https://www.facebook.com/groups/captainamericacomicbookfans.

Not only is it a very important story moment but the art looks absolutely fantastic! Sharon looks amazing from the silhouetted tease to the full fledged reveal in that 90s stylistic glory. Excellent Garney page and key moment from his Cap run, congrats!
