Description"Say Hello To My Little Friend"** Dave Nestler's Bad Girl Club Drawn to Misbehave... Cover. "Scarface" tribute. 2008.Also full page published in the The Contemporary Illustrated Pin-up, p. 107. By Schiffer Publishing, Ltd. Acrylic on 20" x 27.5" board. Original art is Signed and dated lower right. Scan is shown. The "Scarface" Tony Montana chair, the black and white poster background seemingly is influenced by a 80's Nagel graphic known as "Black and White Robe." One of my favorites of Dave Nestler. Model is Tyler Stevens. Dave provided me with a couple photos he took of Tyler, lol. And those quick silly photos become one of his best illustrations. Ha! Just picked this up in a nice trade! "Scarface" is one of the quintessential films from the 80s by Brian De Palma. Social/Sharing |

I would give the boss respect even if Nestler drew the bunk beds like she's a mother of two. He must have toned it down on the cleavage from the photos shown. I can feel those nylons and the garters in my mouth.

Marcus..."I work hard for this, and I want you to know that!" Goal achieved. Feel those nylons and garters, baby!

Good indication of a great piece of art is that reads well even as a thumbnail - it makes sense a reference was used it looks so natural and the pose carries real weight. Great textures too

Dave Nestler’s pinup painting “Scarface” fuses classic pinup allure with the movie’s bold, dangerous energy.

Tony never looked this good before. Has he had extensive cosmetic surgery and enhancements? No, you say? This is what happened after the movie ended. He survived thanks to all the energetic white powder in his veins, crawled away, recovered and then did the ultimate disguise.
