Yeah I know it isn't comic art but how often an one get a piece of museum worthy fine art. Maybe because it is small and an etching, so in a way it is art for the masses or an illustration. That said I love Vuillard's paintigns and compositions and this little 4x6 print checks off all boxes that I love about his work. Can totally see how he influenced other illustration giants I love like Bernie Fuchs and Mark English.

Vuillard influenced a lot of fine artists & illustrators, and this is a highly representative etching --- I knew who it was immediately from the thumbnail despite being on CAF lol. I really enjoy his interiors. Congrats!

Right! Pinky out "Art" kind of crazy how affordable some etchings are by world famous historical artists. I have had to stop myself from bidding on too many but this one was an easy pull the trigger and what's more crazy is no one bid on it but me!
