DescriptionSunday comics were my intro to comics. my older sister would read them and i didn't know why she would bother. i started reading them. this was probably 1986 or so. maybe a little later. it seemed like a good way to spend sunday morning after church. this led to comic books and the rest is history. Mr. Boffo didn't always make sense to me but as i got older i certainly appreciated the dark sense of humor. this and Robotman (which later became Monty) just seemed quirky and rediculous. of course i loved calvin and hobbes and far side but those eventually went away.i moved out of my parents house when i was in my 20's and so no more physical newspapers were to be had but luckily the internet exists! i have had mr boffo bookmarked since then so that i could always start my day with a laugh. i bought this one and also a superman themed strip that joe martin did once that i gifted to a buddy who loves superman. The dry humor is good. This rib is a little hot and spicy though.
