DescriptionDave worked on story and concept designs for an animated Micronauts TV series from close to two decades ago that unfortunately, never got produced. Hasbro bought the rights to the license and killed it. It would have been very cool.This sketch appears to be of The Micronauts Alien character Antros, although I haven't seen any finished versions of him from the limited amount of promotional/concept art for the show that has appeared. Interestingly enough. there was another Micronauts animated show that has a couple of episodes on YouTube. The designs look nothing like the Micronauts from the comics or toys, but there is one alien character that has a similar body type to this guy. As well, there's a character from the Image comics Micronauts series that looks somewhat like this guy too and Dave drew him on the cover of at least one issue. Social/Sharing |
