It would have been cool if Rags did a run on the Ray back in the 90's. His modern illustration style with wash makes all the Kirby Krackle effects feel even more three dimensional.

When picking this up, he told a story about Harlan Ellison seeking him out to commission him to draw The Ray. Ellison had mistakenly attributed Rags as the artist on The Ray. Rags' run on Black Condor had come out around the same time as Joe Quesada's The Ray.
