Description

The puke green coloring on this cover absolutely destroyed it. Doing the colors for a junkyard is probably a tough job. Nick told me the rising smoke effect in the background is something he saw during World War II.

The color guide isn't much of a guide. It's more like "things to avoid". I'm sure the colorist tried his/her best but this is probably the worst ever color job on a Cardy cover.

This looks like a completely different cover from the published version. Obviously they colored it the way they did to emphasize the Christmas tree image, but this is just so much better it's indescribable. Cardy's art here and throughout the entire story is phenomenal.
