Scribbly Self-Portrait by Isaac Goodhart

met Isaac Goodhart about six years ago at Comicpalooza 2019. This was shortly after the release of Under the Moon: A Catwoman Tale which was written by Lauren Miracle and illustrated by Isaac was released.

I mention this because that con was the first to which I took my grandson. He was 3 months then. He and I have gone to many cons since then, but we hadn't encountered Isaac until Bedrock City Comic Con 2025. This time Lars was 6 and had his own sketchbook and got his own sketch.

I decided to get one from Isaac as well. You probably recognize this as a tribute to Triple Self-Portrait by Norman Rockwell (1960) used as the cover of The Saturday Evening Post, February 13, 1960 issue. But did you know that Isaac used the same idea as the cover to a comic? Yep, on Images's Postal #11.

I thought he did it really quickly. :)
