The demon barber of Fleet...! Street! (Sorry - I can't not sing that when I see this...) An impeccably staged and beautiful portrait by M. Zulli that also makes me think of a Tim Sale layout (Man! Can you imagine Tim's inks on this thing?!? What a "what if"...!). Beautiful layout, with Sweeney looking down from his predatory perch onto the rabble below. The lighting from the street (or maybe even from further... below...) casts just the right air of era here, and Michael's unruled, hand-drawn backgrounds fit the subject and tone -SO- perfectly, as though he's a courtroom sketch artist dramatically reconstructing events based on eyewitness accounts... Must be a wonder to see this beauty in-person at 11x17! Another brilliant add to your -AMAZING- collection, Indy - congrats!
