Description
A Bruce McCorkindale commission: a "what if" version of King Comics' FLASH GORDON #14 featuring re-creation of Alex Raymond art from a panel of the Sunday page on 3-30-41. Pen, brush and ink on 13" X 20" Bristol board.

I am having Bruce work on a number of pieces using Alex Raymond's work to "replace" cover images from the 1960's comic books.

Great layout creating an "X" on the cover from the line and the Flash swinging!  Instantly attractive by this strong visual dynamic.
