Description11"x17"1989 Signed with dedication ("to Michael Best Wishes") The seller told me that Bill did this sketch for Michael Herz, who was a big Green Hornet fan and the promoter of the Florida eXtravaganza (FX) con in the early 90's. This sketch looks very similar to the published cover for Green Hornet #7 (also 1989), so I assume Bill was commissioned at a con by Michael Herz to recreate that cover. Back: the sketch was done on a convention poster featuring Van Williams (TV actor who starred as The Green Hornet) Social/Sharing |
