Now you can properly see the pencils that made many inkers question what they do for a living!

Hmm,  a slightly happier / less depressed version of blue lines!? I must have heard about it in a YT chat somewhere but can't place it...

Gene Colan's pencils may have been impossible to ink, but look how much he got from his inkers! Still, his raw pencils are a joy to behold!

Many congrats, CJ. Gene Colan's pencils were in many ways unique and therefore extremely difficult to ink well but when you had an excellent inker like Wood on his single collaboration with Gene in Captain America #127, the result was spectacular. Likewise on the same title with Sinnott who was a fantastic inker as well.

Great to see those pencils, and a couple of real Colan-isms - the doorway and the old-fashioned doorknob, and the playful panel borders. Nice page!
