Dampyr #104 (2008) pages 62-63: Meet the Princes of hell

Tesla finds Hanneke, who has interests other than being found:

“Hanneke!”

“Tesla! You’re here too?”

“I’ve been looking for you all over Prague.”

“Time passes quickly in this magical city. And enchanting discoveries are made, like this exhibition.”

“It isn’t safe here. Sinistrari was a cursed painter, and there are no other visitors. Let’s get out of here.”

“Are you worried about me? What a dear friend, but in your company, nothing bad can happen to me, right? Look! Here's his signature on the painting depicting the princes of hell. 'Sinistrari: Diabolical painter.' It's said that he sold his soul to the Devil. I can't leave here until I've seen all these extraordinary paintings… look! This enormous canvas depicts the walls of the infernal city of Eblis. It almost seems as if Sinistrari reproduced it from life.

As the second panel tells us, the painting in the first panel depicts the Princes of Hell. Some of them have been mentioned in previous issues, but this is the first any of them have shown. We'll be seeing plenty more of them. Notice the hundred naked corpses lying at their feet. From left to right, they are:

Arioch is the burly one with the huge Cloud Strife-style cleaver. His serpent familiar entwines his upper right arm.

Alastor is a humanoid hyena, with a soul-drinking short sword.

Iblis is their skinny leader, holding a sceptre to show that he is the regent of Hell. He's apparently left-handed. Black tears seem to stream from his eyes down his chest.

Dagon is the frog man, munching on a corpse.

Abraxas appears as an old man with tentacles instead of hands and feet.
