Description

Nikolaus opens a package delivered to his door:

“Well, I hope it's not a bomb. And it's addressed to you. Shall we open it?”

“You're asking me?”

“A mirror. 18th-century silversmithing. Certainly the work of Jérôme Sombre, the magician.”

“I'd say the diabolical frame leaves little doubt. But why…”

(Peering into the mirror) “Look, Harlan! It's Tesla! Unfortunately, my guess wasn't wrong. Tesla is no longer in our world. That's the infernal city of Eblis.”

“Nik! Look. That's Alastor, one of the demons I faced at Vysehrad. Tesla is in danger! Tesla, look out!”

“Ahem, I don’t think she can hear you.”

(Indeed, Alastor the hyena-man is advancing on Tesla.) “My sword, the Soul-Sucker! It’s never killed a vampiress before!”

“Wait, Alastor!”

“Prince Abraxas? Do you defend the Dampyr’s companion?”

“You're misinformed, Alastor. Harlan Draka escaped you, but Samael managed to seduce Tesla. Now she is one of us, on the Evil Side.”

(Harlan watches) “Tesla! It can't be! The mirror lies!”

(Nikolaus) “It turns my stomach to see Tesla with that dirty old man Abraxas. Look! The picture is changing!”

You may recall that Jérôme Sombre the silversmith is the same person as Girolamo Sinistrari the painter, in whose magic painting Kurjak is currently imprisoned.

Abraxas is another of the Princes of Hell. He appears as an old man with a mass of tentacles instead of arms and legs. This is his first dialogue, as he wraps a tentacle around the neck of docile Tesla.

They ought to be able to travel dimensions through that mirror too.  The long distance fee might be costly if their plan doesn't include roaming charges.

That outfit on Tesla is giving Slave Leia a run for it's money for me!

It's no contest! Tesla is the sexiest of them all!
