Tess O'Day takes on the trio of witches who are torturing Kurjak: “…so I'll solve it.”

“Don't come any closer, or I'll slit his throat!”

“You… look like Tesla's virtual alter ego… her 'Second Life.'” (The video game Tesla was playing at the beginning of this issue)

“That's me, Tess O'Day.”

“It's not possible… I'm completely delirious.”

“But it is. Listen carefully. I am your Tesla. Samael allowed me to come and save you, as he promised, but I had to do it under this guise, which helped me deceive Sonderling and Druj.”

“And your new powers?”

“Granted to me by Samael, in an extraordinary way. Now I have to get you out of here. This virtual body has unique properties, including the ability to infallibly retrace the path we've already taken, however invisible. So once we leave the world of this Sabbath, we should find ourselves back in the exhibition hall.”

“Did you use this guise just to deceive Sonderling?”

Tesla will have to come clean why her real body was not available to rescue Kurjak.
