Tess O'Day arrives at the infernal throne of Samael, where he is still groping the real Tesla in his lap:

“That's me! But my consciousness is inside this virtual body of mine. How…”

“You ask how this is possible? A person's consciousness is not an undivided whole. Every person is many people. I am caressing a version of you who has no problem giving in to evil.”

“Who is that girl, my prince?”

“This Tesla would stay with me of her own free will. Yet she's missing something, I know… that which makes her unique… her free will!” (Tess O'Day merges back into Tesla.) “Now you're whole, and much more beautiful. Happy to see me again?”

“Samael…”

“There are those who would be happy to be in your place. And instead they suffer endless torment because they are not in your place! I allowed you to save Emil Kurjak. What more do you want? Do you by any chance want to ask me to save him again? Listen!" (In the distance, Kurjak is shooting down a horde of attacking demons.) "I like that man, but that doesn't mean I'll save him. Only his death will make you completely mine… perhaps…”
