Hellboy - Gigi Cavenago

I was absolutely shocked to see a piece by Italian superstar Gigi Cavenago turn up on Anthony’s website! He’s one of my favorite contemporary artists but all of his comics work is digital and I don’t think I’ve ever seen him attend a show in the US so adding a piece of his art to my collection seemed like an impossibility.

Gigi has such a unique line quality to his work and beautifully designs every shape on the page. I highly recommend everyone run to their local comic shop and track down the single issues or the trade of Batman/Dylan Dog the most beautiful comic from last year or Volume 3 of Mark Millar’s Magic Order. Once you track down the easy to find stuff I can almost guarantee you’ll be flipping your Amazon app to the Italian setting and trying to track down the rest of his bibliography!
