Is Star Boy able to make things light as well as heavy now? It would make sense that he and Light Lass really have the same power.

Apparently the  Khunds helped Star Boy 'refine' his powers and he becomes 'the combat equivalent of a portable black hole'! Which means they can probably use that to explain away the actions on this page.

Also at this time, Ayla is known as Spark and still has her lightning powers.

Ah, so the writer used a deus ex machina to write their way out of the mess that was created and shown on this page? Gotcha! Well, at least the very stylized art is pretty cool looking!

I absolutely love this page, even if it doesn't make complete sense with Thom's powers. It just looks cool, and I like the extra tech bits on Jenni, too.

Great piece, Miki!  Duncan's page composition is fantastic here, and his style is really exciting and interesting to behold!  The inking is top notch here, too, as it easily switches between smooth metallic and jagged earth (with a few other stylistic stops in between, like battle-worn costume and wind-blown hair).  This one is really, really fun to look at - that top panel is really commanding, but XS explodes out of panel 2 to prevent her from being upstaged!  GREAT page, Miki!  Hope you had a terrific holidays!
