The inclusion of Skippy's homemade bow, and Tagalong's floppy toy rabbit cements the setup as one of the most desirable for collectors.

This scene can be found in the early part of the story, when the children receive Robin Hood's gift and begin to re-enact his exploits in the forest. The scene became a favourite among animators and audiences alike for its lightness and sincerity, grounding the film's broader action with character-led warmth. It was largely animated by Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston, whose signatures appear beneath the image on this original screen-used cel.

"Frank and Ollie" were two of Walt Disney's Nine Old Men and among the most respected animators in the studio's history. Their work on this sequence was built around restraint and performance, letting the children's personalities come through in timing, gesture, and staging.
