Description~12" x 16"Acrylic on Hahnemuhle This is the 2nd of 3 paintings for Slam Press Tomes' latest book, Grimm: Visions. There were 12 or so artists that contriuted to this book and we each chose a Brother's Grimm story. I chose Fitcher's Bird. Such a great story. Instead of painting 3 pages of comic panels, I chose to paint 3 pin ups of macguffin-type portraits. This is the most macguffin-esque of the 3 paintings. If you don't pick up the book, I hope you read the story and maybe this will be more easily understood.
This piece is an example of a commission I created for a client.
