Rocketeer Homage - Anthony Marques

Totally love Anthony's style. To me, I see some Parobeck and some Cooke and a few others in a style that is still uniquely his own.

Found this one as a work in progress on a post Anthony did on his Insta and immediately reached out. Such an iconic piece of Dave's to be recreated and done masterfully so, keeping Dave's feel but still seeing Anthony in the work.

We made a deal to hold onto it until I could see it in person at Fan Expo 2025 a little over a month later and I couldn't wait. Spent quite a bit of time at Anthony's table as well chatting and enjoying his art, and spending a little $ along the way.

Anthony indicated that this piece was originally set up to be used for an upcoming project - so fingers crossed it hits my radar and we can see exactly what becomes of it. In the meantime - gotta love having this as part of the collection!
