Description
A brutally dynamic Black Adam splash by Gary Frank, capturing one of the most fearsome sequences of Justice League #11. Here, Black Adam erupts with divine fury and lightning while lifting Dr. Sivana in one hand and an unnamed villain in the other. This moment precedes Adam's iconic demand for the Wizard's location, and Frank renders it with absolute cinematic intensity.

The anatomy, energy, and raw emotion in Adam's face are classic Gary Frank hyper-detailed, dramatic, and powerful. Clouds billow, lightning explodes, and the ground fractures beneath him as the two men are violently suspended in the air.

Seeing this original art alongside the published color version emphasizes how the true force and composition originate entirely from Frank's inks. This is one of the strongest Black Adam interior splashes from the New 52 era and a standout piece in my collection.

Frank really levelled up on that series and like you, I was particularly fond of his rendition of a badass Black Adam.

You're absolutely right. The artwork in that series had me hooked.
