I’ve had some cool Nexus pieces over the years, but this is my GOAT, a quintessential example of Baron & Rude’s cosmic executioner. The colors of this oil painting on stretched canvas are deep, rich, and intensely vibrant, truly awesome to behold.

Originally published as the box art for the Nexus statue sculpted by Clayburn Moore, based on this very painting. Later published as a limited edition lithograph.

I once had a choice between this and NEXUS: THE ORIGIN cover from the Rudes. It was an impossible decision...so walked away. Idiot. Congrats to you for landing it!

This statue guards my bedroom from villains - so far, it was has worked 100% and I haven't been attacked by Clausius, Ursula, the Loomis Sisters, Brother Lathe, LeBerq, Zeiffer, Dr XYP or even Clonezone - but we must remain vigilant!

Steve's oil paintings are among his best work. Congratulations
