Dan Jurgens - Metal Men - Issue 3 pg7 (1993)

This is a the first page of a 3page sequence from the 1993 revival of The Metal Men. At this point, each of the humans has been transformed into unhuman Metal Men and, after a long absence, revisit their former lives. The three pages before this, Lead visits the pizzeria where he worked. Here, Iron watches his children and imagines how the reunion might go.

As a father myself, this scene is especially poignant. I can't help but feel for poor Iron as he discovers his children now call another man Dad.
