DescriptionA little glare in the lower right corner. An awesome illo from a very cool late 80s limited series. I wonder if Jim was inspired a tad by the amazing 1979 sci-film by Andrei Tarkovsky, although taken in a different philosophical vein. If you haven’t, both are well worth experiencing. Quite a fantastical illustration! Starlin was definitely inspired by the great European sci-fi works that catered to a more sophisticated audience.
