Description

During the last CAF-Live (#12?), I was fortunate to get a Commission request from fellow CAF Member: Chris Dietzel. If you've seen his CAF Page then you're already aware of his "Captain America Annual #8 Tribute" Gallery?
He was looking for a piece soaked in the style of Jack Kirby and thought that I might be a good fit to do it? I was obviously flattered.
We settled on TEN-FOR as CAP's opponent.Creating the artwork was something of a real challenge. While the characters could be swapped out.. I had to maintain an allegiance to the Layout/Staging in Mike Zeck's original 1986 cover!
Chris also wanted "a LOT of Kirby Krackle.." So, I did my best to fill his request. We gave the Autocron from the Planet CRON a kind-of Cosmic Mace to hammer away at CAP's Shield to create plenty of sparks!!
