I'm not a big Superman fan but oh my soo much intensity in this page. This was for the DC Black Label Superman: Year One series. Those were pretty much magazine sized and the art is also much larger than normal art pages.

It feels like JRJR wanted this to be Superman doing a herculean feat and give drama to it by showing his stress!
