Roby Amor is a Filipino artist whose style recalls the movie posters of Bob Peak and Drew Struzan as well as the paperback covers of Robert McGinnis. I was initially hipped to his art by Jeff Wedding and commissioned him in the comments section of one of Rubén's podcasts.After seeing how this turned out, I immediately commissioned another and both arrived today a mere five months after the first booking.

This is the comic book accurate version of the Netflix poster art for Sandman Season 2, with all of the Endless (with Matthew the Raven and Merv Pumpkinhead) and a position swap of Death and Dream. The model for Death is actress India Eisley. Incredible pencil work here.

Love the rendering. Now to a strange observation, I would blame the wine, if I drank, but Morpheus has a passing resemblence to CAF's very own ML. Perhaps as a universal coincidence.

Impressive work from Roby, as always. There's something indefinabe about this - like seeing something that is familiar yet new all at once. Very compelling.

Roby's the man! His chops with a pencil and the way he gets essentially a fully inked finish look out of them is always so impressive to see in person or on a high resolution scan. Congrats on this tremendous Sandman/Endless comission result!

P.S. I love his "movie poster" style illustrations like this, just recently got one from him myself as my last piece of 2025 that came in - was going to post it today, but now I'm going to let yours breathe for a few more days as the latest Roby piece on CAF I think :)
