Description
I got this in a deal along with a Byrne Iron Fist piece about 15 years ago. I was told it was from a class piece from his time at Alberta College of Art and Design. It is a very large piece - roughly 2 feet by 3 feet. His signature is on the back.

Pretty nice with the control of using the limited color palette!  What if Byrne went into painting fantasy instead of comics?

What an interesting piece of history. I long for a nice big tome of 'The art of John Byrne' with pieces like this. thanks for sharing.
