Time Without End
written by Paul Levitz

Story page 16.
Cosmic Boy and Night Girl are at the End of Time, pawns of the Time Trapper.
He has given them one hour to find a way back to their time otherwise they will be trapped there forever.
They navigate all the obstacles that the Trapper has put in their path and have almost made it back to their Time Bubble. But time is running out as counted by the the grains of sand in the Trapper's hourglass.
Cosmic Boy skirts the rules by pinching off the hourglass.

When magnetic lends a helping sand
We hold it close, so close, and never let it go
Then, the pen begins to write the story
With Levitz that bends right out of our Colon

How did we get so jaded? I don't know
Was it the bright times feeding our Marcos?
I never valued minutes I burned through
Is Trap just how it goes?
Seconds I wasted, I was fixated
You're devastated, sorry to say
I can fix it, is this where time gives Krinn?

I'm falling through the hourglass
And I don't think I'll ever make it sand
So I throw stones at walls the Trapper climbs
Victim to the sands of time
Falling through the hourglass
