Mark Trail Sundays [1994-10-30] - Black Cat/Halloween by Jack Elrod

This is the original art for a Mark Trail Sunday strip with art and story by Jack Elrod about cats, and more specifically addressing the superstitions surrounding black cats. This strip was done in time for Halloween in 1994. The piece measures 21 3/8" x 14 3/8" on Bristol. There are a couple of pieces of thick paper (doesn't have the same tooth of the Bristol) taped on the back of the strip to either side. It appears this was done for reasons to do with the strip's printing and/or production. There is unfortunately a 2 3/8" tear at the top of the strip and a little foxing on the left side of it.
