The Amazing Mary Jane #1 Sketch Cover Prelim 03

As you can see I've put a lot of work into Mary Jane since the previous update. Thankfully I've perfected her hair which was essential to the character. The shade of red was achieved with Copic values YR20, YR21, YR09, E97 and R39. I also threw in freckles on her cheeks because I wanted to get across the fact she's a natural redhead. For the denim I used B93 through B97 with soft lead white colored pencil to get the jeans' texture right. Her top is a mix of YR21 and Y15. The focus now turns to the photographs, which will be a challenge in and of themselves given their scale. But I'll figure it out. More as it develops.
