Chris Achilleos - Elric Illustration (FPG, 1992)

A very early illustration from fantasy art legend, Chris Achilleos of Michael Moorcock's famous albino anti-hero, Elric. This illustration served as a very early concept design for Achilleos' cover for Elric: At the End of Time book published in the 1984 by New English Library. This specific illustration was published in the first FPG card set for Achilleos on the back of his Elric card (#5) and quotes Chris saying "The concept and design of the major foreground figure goes a long way back to my days at art college or before, as this early sketch shows." Finished in graphite on approximately 11"x15" illustration board and in excellent condition.
