Dr. Midnight # 3 Pg. 31

This terrific underwater splash page was originally intended to me the cover of the third issue of the classic Dr. Midnight mini-series which was written by Matt Wagner and fully painted by John K. Snyder III. The editor decided to go with a full body shot of Dr. Midnight walking through flames as the cover; this was probably a better choice given how dark this image is.

I have also included a scan of the back of the board as it contains the inset panels which appear on the printed page as well as JKS III's notation indicating this piece was to be the cover.
