Detective Richard Fell

Fell was made to be remarqued with that big white area built into the trade dress.

I've long admired Ben Templsmith's work, from the grotesque to the otherworldly. He is an underappreciated storyteller in comics these days, despite his work on seminal titles like 30 Days of Night and Criminal Macabre, and numerous Eisner Awards to his name...including one for best continuing series for Fell.

Alas, it didn't continue quite enough and sputtered out after issue nine. Ben told me of plans to revive and finish off the story of Snowtown that were derailed by co-creator Warren Ellis falling out of favor...for reasons.

The color in the Snowtown brand is a nice touch.
