BLADE RUNNER (1982) Pair of Sign Model Miniatures

A pair of sign model miniatures from Ridley Scott's Blade Runner. The futuristic streets and skyline of 2019 Los Angeles were achieved through a combination of matte paintings and intricately detailed model miniatures.

This lot consists of two miniature wooden signs, both depicting a woman's face with red lips and red characters simulating Japanese Kanji, one of which is in a small brown frame for attaching to the side of a model miniature building. They exhibit some wear from use and age, including discoloration and bits of adhered material from where they were previously attached to larger model miniature set pieces. Dimensions: (largest) 4.5" x 6" x 0.25" (11.5 cm x 15.25 cm x 0.75 cm)
