From the estate of friend, and longtime collector Lou Irmo, this Krenkel nude, drawn during his tenure as a student in Burne Hogarth's drawing class c 1949-50. This is the class where Krenkel met Al Williamson, and then, by proxy, Frank Frazetta and Angelo Torres. Krenkel made note of this on the drawing, as you can see. Pretty cool piece of history and a big thanks to Sue Irmo for letting me buy this!

That's really pretty isn't it! Roy did it up for class. I think Hogarth was really a big influence on him and Frazetta. They must have loved his Tarzan at the time. It shows
