The figure at the top left watches the pair who stabbed him ride away from the tavern. He had tried to steal from them what may have been the Necklace of Freyja. A kindly-looking stranger approaches him over his bleeding hand. Page 1 of a 2-page sequence.

Not sure if Diaz meant to look like Adams or Hitch here, but the influence seems apparent.
