Canadian American Artist. The theme of Artist and Model has been used for centuries but Richard Taylor ( R. Taylor ) clearly has his own humorous style. The Taylor girl is easily recognizable with oversized heavy-lidded oval eyes and curvaceous body shapes. Taylor is in the Charles Addams school of artists/ cartoonists. What I admire most about his work is his painting style, His complex figural studies are grounded in deep academic training. This work is an interior image with more than two-point perspective. Work is unframed but mounted on archival board. Appeard most likely in Playboy or Esquire.
