I like the layout and color he added to this absolute winner. Congrats.

I'm not a fan of this character's overall design, but I love this drawing and it may be the coolest looking pen & ink depiction of him I've seen so far. Cool way to use the cape to play around with the design, too!

Now there's a Batman that would strike fear into the hearts of criminals!

Harvey is a straight up gangstah when it comes to linework and varying line weights! And he's one of the nicest and most approachable guys in the game. Awesome Absolute Batman piece and a great OAX auction win, congrats!

Yes, the inking really makes this one, and you're absolutely right about the control over the line widths and weights. Very nicely executed - and well worth blowing up the image to see the detail.

It's easy to tell that Absolute has taken over when you look at a piece like this and rather than being struck by its blistering mayhem and extreme over-the-topness, you think, "Yeah, that's just about right..."! :) lol  

Beautiful work by Harvey here, and just as you say, the inking is incredible.  Great call-out on the line weights, wielded to great effect: a fiercely aggressive design and composition that perfectly captures and encapsulates the Absolute ethos... and -OF COURSE- it's 14x19.  It couldn't possibly be considered Absolute otherwise, right? :) Great auction pick up, K!
