Tim Sale's art will forever be missed. The way he renders with inkwash is unmatch. His work on Catwoman When in Rome is just pure candy for the eyes. He used inkwash to paint the batcave and gives it a surreal dakrness, gothic and creepy vibe like no one else can make. The surrounding is just as important as the characters. He depicts this dream sequences like a 1920's horor film with hallucination Batman about to slit Catwoman's throat. Pure cinema!!!
