A Sentinel Post original artwork hand-drawn by Syd Mead with 13 prints of his other concept pieces from the production of Ridley Scott's Blade Runner. Iconic industrial designer and neo-futurist Syd Mead created the concept art that helped define the film's unique vision of 2019 Los Angeles.
Mead has hand-drawn the “Sentinel Post: Deckard’s APT. BLDG. SEN 1 SM24” piece with black ink, leaving his distinctive signature on the artwork. Nine of the prints in this lot closely resemble this hand-drawn piece in both medium and presentation. The images displayed across these prints include Rick Deckard operating a Sentinel Post, a scene featuring public phone booths, and various examples of technology from the film’s story world. The remaining four prints are coloured concept artworks depicting the streets of a futuristic Los Angeles, along with exterior and interior views of a police spinner. Dimensions (largest): 37.5 cm x 24.75 cm (14.75” x 9.75”)
