Wow, there is nothing cooler than artwork where almost all its value has nothing to do with money!  OK, one thing cooler--being immortalized by Byrne in a comic, biggest congrats!!

Special piece and story - thanks for sharing! Michelin Man's transformation to Stay Puft in Ghostbusters has made that brand mascot even more iconic and memorable over time as well. A great way to commemorate 1k CAF posts, congrats.

This is really nice!

I loved it when you told me this story and was waiting for you to post this.  Not sure how I missed it.  Not sure how old this book is, but I'm assuming John did this from memory since it's probably been a while since Michelle looked like this.  I guess the obvious question is, when are YOU going to appear on a Byrne comic page?  Anyway, can't wait to see it framed.  And better than taking a photo of it hanging on the wall, it would be great to see the current Michelle holding it or at least standing next to it.  Awesome page and awesome story.

JBNM # 38 was published in 2011, so JB probably drew this page in 2010, which would make Michelle 17 years old at the time.  It's possible that Michelle was the only person he knew then who fit the age of the character he was portraying!
